Arts & Culture: Toronto & Niagara Falls

4 Day* Customized Tour for Groups

Welcome to the Six, T.O., Hogtown or Hollywood North – pick what you please but you will find plenty to see and do in Toronto! Begin at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada and immerse yourself in a world of 20,000 aquatic animals for an interactive, educational experience. Next, ride one of the glass-faced elevators for the 58-second ride to the CN Tower Observation Deck to take in the panoramic view of the city. Do you dare to walk on a glass floor 553 m (1.815 feet) above the streets of Toronto? Transfer to St. Lawrence Market to explore and purchase lunch at one of the world’s great markets – there’s so much to see, taste and discover!. Visit the Kensington Market area – a walkable Bohemian neighbourhood that draws artists and tourists to its Indie shops, vintage boutiques and arts spaces. The Market is also home to a wide array of specialty grocers, bakeries and cheese shops. Explore Canadian and world history and culture at the Royal Ontario Museum, walk back in time at Casa Loma for a self-guided visit and a chance explore the secret passages and tunnels or visit Black Creek Pioneer Village, a working village typical of those established in Ontario in the early 1800’s. For art lovers, a visit the Art Gallery of Ontario with a collection of more than 90,000 works of art is a must. Satisfy the sport enthusiasts at the Hockey Hall of Fame, science buffs can explore the Ontario Science Centre, Thespians will enjoy a guided tour of the Elgin & Wintergarden theatres and the shopaholics can get their retail fix at the Eaton Centre. Evenings can be enjoyed at a Blue Jays Game (seasonal), a Toronto Symphony concert or taking in a play at one of the many theatres in Toronto or with a stroll along the historic cobblestone streets of the Distillery District by lantern light on a haunted walk with tales of gruesome accidents, the perilous world of whiskey-making and the explosive War of 1812! A day trip to Niagara Falls by coach is an hour away. Begin at the Fort George National Historic Site, a strategic fortification which prevented the Niagara Region from falling to the Americans during the War of 1812. Then continue to Clifton Hill with time to purchase lunch and explore the many attractions. Enjoy a cruise on the Hornblower Niagara as it passes in front of the American Falls, past the Rock of Ages, beyond the Cave of the Winds to the foot of the mighty Horseshoe Falls. Visit the Butterfly Conservatory where you will see over 2,000 colourful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush, exotic blossoms and greenery. With so much to see and do in the Toronto/Niagara Falls area, your days and evenings will be full and your spirit renewed
